I’ve always been challenged with gardening, as time and again I have proven that I really don’t have a green thumb. But the trying hard gardener as I am, I simply don’t stop. Last summer, I got lucky with most of the seeds that I sowed and I had an abundant supply of eggplant, green beans, parsley, cilantro and basil. And, these were all on containers, as I am limited to just container gardening.
The past few years that I’ve been doing this, I learned that for plants to survive, the care instructions should be followed strictly. When it requires full sun exposure, there better be plenty of sunshine. There’s different care instructions for each and every plant. I never used to pay attention too much with such instructions thus, the dismal results. My plants used to die on me, as I used to take them for granted.
With my planting success last summer, I will for sure take those instructions to heart. Gardening is fun and it brings a lot of satisfaction and fulfillment. I can’t wait for spring to come. I will be at it once again.
