I love to use fresh garlic on many of the dishes I make. Garlic powder and or the already chopped, store bought garlic just wont’ make the cut for me. Even if I always end up with garlic smell hands every night, I still keep peeling and chopping them. I always get rid of the smell though, by doing the following three sure ways to banish that nasty smell:
- Pour a little amount of baking soda or salt on hands and rub them together. Rinse with water.
- Squeeze toothpaste or pour a small amount of mouthwash on one palm, then rub hands together. Rinse with water.
- Rub hands across a stainless steel utensil under running tap water. This is what I do most of the time. It works.
