It’s always a great feeling to wake up every single day well rested and refreshed. I almost always do, and I’m so glad about that. I’m probably just one of the many that can just shut out any sound, and drift into dream land even in the midst of a snoring partner. I must say, that my husband does snore once in a while, specially when he is really dead tired, but that does not keep me from sleeping soundly.
On the other hand, I can just imagine what a lot of light sleepers out there experience. Broken sleep at night, all the more makes a person more tired. Imagine the effects of light sleeping, that includes lesser ability to concentrate and exhaustion that’s hard to explain. Just like my sister, who has a husband that snores like a train. She frequently sleeps in their guest room because of such loud snoring that prevents her from getting a sound sleep. She’s actually been considering a white noise machine, specifically the SleepMate Sound Conditioner to put an end to her sleepless nights. She says, that should do the trick as SleepMate creates a soft, soothing sound that helps block out intermittent noise, like her husband’s snoring. I thought so too, as I have heard about the efficacy of the machine in promoting a good night sleep.
I wish her luck, she’s been suffering long enough. I don’t know why she didn’t consider getting such a nifty gadget a lot sooner.
