Since I’m in the mood to talk about wrinkles, let me share some tips about how to “freeze” the appearance of wrinkles. Taking measures to prevent appearance of wrinkles should start when one is only in their 20’s. Ironically, many of us at that age, will not even consider on getting anti-aging products. It’s when we’re young that we should lay the groundwork for aging problems that will appear on our faces when we’re older. The skin you have now while in your 20’s, will be the same skin you have for the next decade if you take care of it.
- Shop with caution. A lot of anti-aging products are formulated for mature skin, that can often be too heavy for younger people with active oil glands . It’s imperative to look for oil free moisturizers or lightweight gels and serums.
- Wear sunscreen religiously. That anti-aging product can only do so much if you don’t wear sunscreen. You can opt for a moisturizer with built in sun protection.
- Protect your eyes. This is one of the first area to show signs of aging. The area around the eyes needs extra hydration even if the rest of the face doesn’t.
- Nourish your skin. Lightweight antioxidant- rich gels or serums give the skin a dose of nutrients that help protect it from stress and environmental factors.
