Having been exposed to the beauty industry when I had my career, I have learned a lot about makeup application. In fact, I went to Japan one time for a seminar just so I have a better idea on proper makeup application and tips.
That said, it’s okay to always use golden bronzers year round. Often, women stop using it after the summer but it gives one a healthy glow, so why not use it all the time? Foundation is something that a lot of us misuse. But getting the best color match to our skin gives the most natural look. Applying foundation on a moisturized skin is imperative for smooth application. And how about powders? This is where we tend to over-apply. It should be applied sparingly so as not to cake up. A powder that’s a shade lighter than your skin tone will prevent darkening as the day progresses. A subdued cheeks by applying a hint of blush will make you look fresh. Further, a perfect color to give you that natural flush should be aimed for.
Eyeshadow? This is where I experiment a lot. I tend to be more daring with colors, you should too. Eyeliners are to be applied after eyeshadow. And, don’t forget to top off with a mascara on your lashes.
A perfect makeup goes with a perfect lipstick, so go ahead get the perfect shade.
