Did you know that you can donate your suits, shoes and other business attire that are just collecting dust in your closet or storage area? That is exactly what I did with the numerous custom made suits that I brought with me when I moved here. When it was getting clearer that I was home bound and just be contented being a domestic goddess, I finally gave up and donated my “business-y” clothes. I didn’t only free up a lot of closet space, it also felt good being able to share what I have to less fortunate low income women that need such clothes to maintain and get a job.
Check out Dress For Success (http://dressforsuccess.org) and share whatever you have. They have locations all over the country , I’m sure there should be one near you. Now, if only they also take watches, I would definitely give up some of my husband’s Nautica watches, as it’s very seldom when they are used anyway. He has several watches that he loves to wear a lot, so it’s useless just keeping them.
