On Being Indecisive

There are times that we find ourselves very indecisive. Apparently, there are ways we can turn that indecisiveness around and change.

It is important that when we are trying to make up our mind, we have to focus on our goal. It is best to clarify our goal by asking ourselves: “what is this for?” Say for example you want a new Bluetooth headset , ask yourself: do I really need it or do I just want it to feel better?

On smaller matters, giving oneself a couple of minutes to  decide then act is the best approach. If the choice really matter in the grand scheme in  your life, then go for it. If not, it is not worth investing a lot of time and energy in it.

Should you be facing a big problem, and you find yourself playing the possibilities over and over in your mind, it may not be the best time to decide NOW. Why not give yourself a breather? However, you have to be specific with the timing: i.e. sleep on it and decide tomorrow or maybe take a week and then revisit it again.
