I’m referring to the perfect storage receptacle for pasta. Your choice don’t have to be scientific, just like when you are buying a steering rack for your vehicle. It is a known fact that pasta can be stored on any container as long as it is air tight. Let me be specific here, I’m talking about uncooked pasta.
If dried pasta is stored and kept away from extreme temperatures, it is known that it can keep for at least two years. If there is a “best if used by” date on the container however, you have to take note of the date and attach the label to the storage container. The best used by date normally signifies that the flavor and nutritional value is altered if the pasta is consumed after that. In the absence of a date on the box, take note of the date of purchase.
