As a preferred shopper at Saks Fifth Avenue, I get this Beauty Catalog as well as Fashion catalog sent in the mail every season. Two days ago, I got the Beauty Catalog, and one item in the catalog caught my eye.

This La Prairie Cellular Cream is priced at $1,000. No, that is not a typo error. You are not seeing double but three zeros. This cream is supposed to have precious metals and cellular complex as well as peptides, vitamins, firming and lifting agents and anti-oxidants. It’s targeted use is to significantly reduce wrinkles and lines.

I’m normally a sucker for beauty potions and creams, but I’m not sure if this one is well worth it to make me part with my thousand bucks. What about you?
