This hotel is located at Via Veneto, the site of luxury hotels and elegant cafes. I’m so glad, we had the chance to stay in this landmark, as it is known as the hotel with a baroque corner tower, referred to as limestone palace. Just by the corner is the US Embassy.
Let me take you in to this awesome hotel decorated with marble floors, thick rugs, gilded garlands around the walls, as well as Empire furniture.
The room is very spacious, with high ceiling and elegantly decorated with antiques and silk curtains including the marble clad bathroom. The service is superb.
The only downside is that, with the very expensive room rate, there was no inclusions(i.e. breakfast) at all. I was advised to book early to get a good deal, but the price was still steep. With all that, my husband and I still decided to go for it, as this could be the only time we will ever visit Rome.
