Whenever we dine at a Japanese restaurant, Hot Sake is not far behind.
What is Hot Sake? It’s a Japanese drink aptly called as nihonshu (Japanese wine). Most people won’t like the taste of Sake the first time. I did too, but you acquire the taste for it. Sake is served in Japan practically everywhere including weddings, festivals, temples and of course right by the izakaya (Japanese pubs). Sake is simply a taste that will grow on you.
I can only down half of that o-choko (little porcelain thimble cup) as I do better doing “justice” to the food. Any Japanese dish is always welcomed. I know that over indulgence is definitely not good, and it may sooner or later makes me go for diet pills. But for now, I’m safe, so let me enjoy one of the cuisines that I love the most.
