A very feminine nail color, don’t you think? But that alluring “paint,” once it gets on your white shirt, is it the end of that white shirt?
Don’t fret! You can bring back the pristine white color of that shirt. All you have to do is after you test the fabric on a hidden spot for colorfastness, sponge over the stain with a little amount of pure acetone. Acetone can be availed from beauty supply stores and drugstores. After this process, you can then launder the shirt as you normally do.
Word of caution: If the fabric contain acetate (you can check this through the care label) acetone should not be used to take off red nail polish. It can dissolve the cloth that’s why. It is best to use amyl acetate which is also available at drugstores.
