Are You Motivated?

In this life, we all know that we need to be motivated to get ahead. With hard work and a little bit of  luck, I believe you can achieve your dreams. But what if you simply lack the motivation? Yes, there are people indeed who are not motivated enough to carry on what’s needed of them to accomplish their goals.

There are moments when we simply lack the motivation. It’s one of those times when we have that one thing we really want to accomplish but we just can’t seem to tackle it and start. When that happens, let go but don’t forget that objective.

We can get ourselves motivated by dreaming big. We don’t necessarily have to start big; starting small is fine. Take each step at a time toward accomplishing that goal. It’s our ability to set reachable goals, and getting our feet wet that is important. Just jump in, and take baby steps to start.

Of course, getting inspired or being inspired will rev you up. Acknowledging the reason why you can’t reach that goal is important. Oftentimes, anxiety or fear of failure is a big hindrance. But keeping one’s focus everyday will eventually get you there.

After everything is said and done, it is imperative to reward yourself. Once you reach your goal, that alone is a good payoff, but extra goodies for sure will motivate you to get to that objective. Thus, knowing that there is a reward in the end is a big motivator.

Awesome thoughts. Motivation is definitely a requirement in succeeding in anything in life.
The key is to never give up and never give in to frustrations of challenges that you meet along the way.
Self Discipline is a must when one is trying to stay motivated also.

    Have a very positive day!

  2. I have a way of motivating myself. I have a small notebook and every week I write 5 things on a page that I want to do that week. I add items such as clean one closet this week, repot a plant, or something major such as clean the carpet in one room. I look at the list every day and try to do one item a day finishing up by Friday. If I get all 5 items done I reward myself with an hour of reading, buying myself a new book or maybe a new shirt or pair of pants. I do decide what the reward will be and list it on my page for that week so I can see what I have to look forward to. And I have to admit that some weeks I don’t finish the list and these items are placed on the next weeks page. After working all day this is the best way I’ve found to keep my motivation up.
