Planning for a summer getaway in itself entails a lot of work, how much more if you have a very limited budget to work around with for the vacation? During this recession, more and more people are putting their vacation plans on hold. What, with a lot of uncertainties, it’s the fear of the unknown that is putting people’s mind into overdrive and they  get worried sick.

But let not the uncertainties keep you from enjoying life. Life has to go on.  If you’re used to grand vacations, maybe this year you can tone down the expense a bit by foregoing your stay in your usual luxurious hotel. You can still have your summer getaway without spending a fortune. This time, why not pick a nearby destination? Here in the US, there are a lot of great destinations, right here at home, and with a lot of hotel offerings from various hotels there are more hotel accommodation options to choose from.

Oh yes, I must be one of those that is also worried sick, and you’ll know why later on. The good thing is that, I’m not putting my life on hold because I’m worried.
