Searching for diet pills that work, as in, those pills that really, really work is my latest obsession these days. Why? Simply because, my BFF is pleading me to take over her search. Ever since she got too busy with work, instead of her losing weight, she is on the opposite path. Her food binging while on duty at the hospital is making her gain more weight. Now, she’s starting to believe she may really need one soon.
Then, this led me to think about the usual direction that we normally see in pill bottles : take this pill with food. What does it mean, really? I asked this same question to my internist on my recent visit, thus, I’m sharing it with you and according from him it means that the pill is to be taken at the end of our meal while there’s tons of food in our stomach. On the other hand, if we are directed to take a pill on an empty stomach, it means that we should wait at least a couple of hours after our meal and take the pill. After which, we should skip eating any food for the next hour before we eat again.
