Today marked the first day of Fall, officially. How time flies! In as much as I don’t want to say goodbye to summer, I can’t help welcoming Fall as I can now feel the colder temps.
Having said that, the change of season also signals several household chores that is associated with every switch of season. Sadly, most of them are my chores. No, I’m not complaining because someone has to do it, and that would be me. I really don’t mind, as the biggest chore that is associated with Fall is readying the closets. This also gives me the chance to take a good look at some stuff in our wardrobe and weed out those for donation and shop for items that we need.
The outdoor furniture have to be stored too but I need some masculine help on this one. Other than that, I can pretty much manage on my own. I also need to check on the different filters in the house such as the furnace filters, air purifier filters as well as humidifier filters. More often than not, at this time of the year they have to be replaced.
As to when these chores are going to be accomplished, is a big question. I need to find the perfect time as I have my hands full nowadays. But I can’t hold the temps from changing, thus, the closets have to be my first priority. Otherwise, we will freeze.
