Ignoring breakfast or a meal for that matter, with the intention to save big on calories will do you more harm than good. Trust me. I’ve done it quite a few times and I always end up getting headaches or gas pain. Worse, I ended getting more ravenous and gobbled down whatever I can get my hands on the following meal.
As professionals put it, our blood sugar plummets, which will all the more make us feel famished and emotionally, we feel more entitled to eat more foods. Besides, when we deprive ourselves of food, our body starts to think that there is simply no source of readily available nourishment. Thus, our metabolism goes to a snail’s pace. Which means, that the slower our metabolism, it becomes more hard to shed off the unwanted weight.
Now, I’m always making my breakfast the most important meal of the day.
