Don’t Get Angry, It Can Make You Fat

I just got distracted! I have been engrossed on my research on the various POS systems available when I suddenly remembered what my Doctor told me recently. It is one vital information,  and I just have to share it with you here.  I’ll get back on my research later. That can wait. What is the POS system research for? Not for me, I’m just helping my niece sort through the many options.

Listen up! Do you tend to keep your angry feeling a lot? If so, you better lose it! Why? Because it can make you fat. How is that? Because getting riled up raises the level of cortisol ( a stress hormone) in our body and of course, the spike can cause the weight gain. The angrier one gets, and the more frequent one  gets angry the more likelihood that a person put on pounds around the waist. And not to mention that hostility also increases the risk of cardiovascular problems.

Thus, the next time someone pushes your button, take several deep breaths and ask yourself: “is this really a big deal?”
