Gearing Up For The Holidays

Holiday season is fast approaching. After Halloween, people across the United States will be preparing for the next big holiday which is Thanksgiving.

With that comes the big Thanksgiving party. Are you hosting it this year? Lucky you! Or should I say, unlucky you (LOL). I know, it is not that easy. It entails a lot of preparation. Not only will you ensure that the guests enjoy the foods, you have to make sure your house is squeaky clean and neat. Worse, if some relatives are staying over, that doubles the anxiety.

The most important part of the house during these Holidays is the kitchen. While it is important that the whole house is ready for the guests, making sure that everything in the kitchen (it does not matter, even if you don’t have one of those fancy Grohe faucets) is working properly is imperative. From the oven to the sink, microwave and the hood, as well asĀ  the China and silverware should be washed and polished.

I have never had the chance to host a Thanksgiving dinner yet. I know that I will have my turn sooner than later. I admit, I think it’s kind of scary especially so that I have only made turkey roast only once in my lifetime.

  1. WEll I am the lucky one. The only ones I am hosting are all my animals and they are really easy to please and I don’t have to spend the day in the kitchen.
