Lovely Storage Box

I’m a pack rat especially when I get my hands on something lovely. One of the things I have been hoarding are perfume boxes as well as those Swarovski crystal (I’m a collector) boxes. In fact, almost one long shelf in my walk-in closet has been dedicated to store such. I don’t know where to keep them when I run out of space. For now, I nestle some of them for as long as they fit to save on space.

These boxes are not only meant to be stored. As a matter of fact, the perfume boxes are recycled and I give them a second life by using them as bathroom necessities holder (hair accessories, cotton buds, makeup sponges and brushes, etc.). It ‘s not only pleasing to the eyes, the best part is that the leftover fragrance lingers on, which freshens whatever is inside.

I haven’t tried doing it but I’ve been thinking of buying pretty drawer pulls and glue them on the cover to serve as handle. Imagine this pretty box with a handle! Won’t this be a pretty sight in your bathroom vanity?
