Have you experienced having a ring stuck on your finger? That is of course, if the ring is too tight. As we all know, it is always easier to put something in than removing it — sometimes we are short of cutting the ring or band off.
When such sticky situation arise, and you have already tried the old standbys (baby oil, hand lotion and the ring didn’t budge), why not try switching to lubricants? You can do so by first running your finger under very cold water, then apply mayonnaise, dish liquid, or vitamin E (break open the capsule) to your finger to help loosen the ring.You can then gently twist the ring and try to work it up and over your knuckles. If everything else fail, you may have no choice but to ask your doctor to cut the ring off.
I know, it must be tough to have to go through a situation like this, probably even worse than going through a pre-employment screening, but it can happen and you should be ready to deal with it.
