In the middle of searching for water softeners (I’m looking for possible replacement of our unit), I came across a brilliant idea. Did you know that you can turn a cabinet into a memo board? Yes, I’m referring to your kitchen cabinet! That is, if you want to spare one of the doors.
It can be done simply by brushing on chalk-board paint. You can apply two coats right over the existing finish then let it dry. It’s that simple! You can then immediately start to jot down reminders, grocery lists and appointments or whatever that you think is important.
A large board conveniently located in your kitchen will ensure that every member of the family will not miss the important message or reminder. On a lower cabinet door, you can also do the same, to serve as a drawing board for your kids.
