Has it ever happened to you when your baby wipes dried out on you? I’m asking the many moms out there who buy baby wipes in bulk. I was wondering if these unused baby wipes can be re-hydrated. I know, not too many of you may like the idea as it is like trying to give a second life to anything (even prenatal vitamins, perhaps?). Not!
Anyway, I did my research and found out that indeed you can rehydrate baby wipes by adding a few drops of tap water or baby oil to the bottom of the container. You have to seal it and turn it upside down. Once the lid is tightly closed, and the container is stored away from heat sources, the wipes can last longer. They can then be used for quick cleaning touch ups for your phones, the linings of a sticky purse and of course, dirty hands. They may even be used to spiff up faucets as well as sinks. Note that they are not safe for marble and granite.
