Beans And Weight Loss

I love reading. At such a young age, I developed that passion. I love reading books, magazines, and virtually anything that is worth reading,  especially those that  interests me the most.

Earlier today,  from reading a book I have learned that beans is one of the best foods that a dieter needs to speed up weight loss. Beans are loaded with cholecystokinin – a digestive hormone which serves as a natural appetite suppressant.  It works by keeping food in the stomach longer. As compared to low-fiber meal (rice and dry milk) , the level of cholecystokinin is believed to be twice as  high after a meal containing beans. Apart from that, beans also keep blood sugar levels on an even keel so that hunger is staved off longer.

And an added bonus? High fiber beans can lower cholesterol!
