I’ve been slacking off on going to the gym. With the brutal winter weather, even if all I need to do is get the elevator and head down to the gym right here, I can’t even do it. There are times when I think of just getting a fitness equipment, a treadmill perhaps. Then I will have no more excuse and justified reason not to get moving.
All I’m thinking of nowadays are those healthy comfort foods . Meatloaf, chili and pasta. Yum! Add to that the more healthy soba noodles with shrimp, snow peas and carrots and toasted barley and chicken pilaf. They are all great in fending off the chills of winter, aside from the fact that they are heart healthy whole grain dishes that are also rich in flavor and fiber.
