Yesterday was my third round of sclerotherapy. My doctor thought that two sessions was good enough but when she examined the result of the second session, she deemed fit that we proceeded with one more treatment. She originally predicted that I would need four sessions anyway but because of the very good outcome after the first session, she thought that two would have been fine which was not the case.
I have no problem with that. In fact, I wouldn’t mind going to this kind of doctor. The people working behind the front desk are all friendly, there are snacks and drinks for free, and the office is very lovely. The only downside is it’s close on Fridays (Jewish observance).
I actually got acquainted with a couple of patients already, one of them is going for sclerotherapy too and the other one is going for eczema treatment. Across the street are two restaurants and there are several specialty boutiques. I have yet to step in to the boutiques, though because after I’m done with my session, it is not that easy to walk as I have Ace bandages on my legs. I’m hopeful that when I go back after a month, I will not need any more treatment. That means, my legs will be free of Ace bandages therefore, I will be pain free and I will be able to spend all the time hopping from one boutique to the next.
