As we continue to live our lives, we yearn to learn more about various issues and topics that interests us. For a stay-at-home wife like me, I’m always interested to widen my knowledge about housekeeping. It’s like a 320 degree turn around from when I was still in the corporate world. I didn’t think I’d be that interested about domestic topics. Not that I’m aiming to become another Martha Stewart, but I just want to be well equipped while doing the best job that I love the most.
Anyway, has it ever happened when your jetted tub is unused for a long time and and when you’re ready to plunge in, icky stuff pours out of the sprayers?
To get rid of the particles, all you have to do is fill the tub (above the jets) with hot water. Pour in two cups of chlorine bleach and 1/4 to 1/2 cup of powdered dishwasher detergent. Run the jets for 20 minutes then turn off. Drain. Refill the tub with water and drain again to rinse out any bleach residue. Don’t forget to open windows to air out the fumes.
