The hour and a half ride to St. Tropez was conducive for sleeping. What, with the van all to ourselves, I had ample space to stretch out and take a snooze. However, with a chatty Frenchman for a driver and with an equally loquacious travel companion I was not given the chance to do so. Besides, I would have missed the awesome vista as we traversed the highways. For a long while, I was not thinking about the recent offer for disability insurance, as I was enthralled by what was presented right before my eyes.
My camera lens just couldn’t do justice to the beauty of nature. Even if my eyes were heavy and I just couldn’t help but close them once in a while, every time I shut my eyes I would force them open because I couldn’t bear to miss seeing the beauty around me. Blame it on the six hours time difference. At that early morning, I would have been dreaming in bed in New York. I managed to open and close my eyes all throughout the ride until we hit the first village which got me so wide awake.
(stay tuned for the continuation)
