A few days into our vacation in Ireland, I discovered that I love the traditional Irish stew (braised tender lamb with potato, onion, carrot, flat leaf parsley, gravy) a lot. The voracious eater that I am, I didn’t tire of the taste, that whenever we dined at an Irish resto I went ahead and ordered it. I especially liked the most the version at the Millstone Restaurant on Dame Street.
We’re back in New York and the bad thing about this is the fact that in a few days, I’m due to see my Internist. I’m horrified to face him, more so because of the fact that he advocates that I maintain a certain weight because of my hypertension. It’s not that I’m overweight, it’s just that, he does not want my weight fluctuating.
