Along Grafton Street in Dublin, every shop has its own character. Here’s a glimpse:
When we were there, I didn’t know which store to go to first. Yes, I’m the girl from New York who seems to be lost in just one strip of shopping street. It’s unbelievable, right? While New York is one of the shopping capitals in the world, Grafton Street’s character is not the same.
To say that I had a ball shopping in Dublin is an understatement. In fact, I went into Weir & Sons ( Dublin’s biggest jewelry and watch store) and I spent a lot of time looking into exquisite jewels. I was hoping to score a 12 mm. Mikimoto South Sea pearl earring but I was disappointed because they had none in stock. For a moment while in the store, I had this imagination that I can learn how to create my own jewels by buying jewelry making tools. Who knows, nothing is impossible, right?
