I ensured that our trip to Ireland was as leisurely as can be. I only booked several tours. Because of the heavy itinerary that we had at the French Riviera a couple of months back, we decided that the Ireland vacation should be a relaxing one.
On our scheduled day tour to the Wicklow Mountains, the day started gloomy and dark. I almost opted to cancel and just re-book the tour but my husband insisted that we should go, so off we went. We stopped by Sandy Cove, and I almost did not even want to get off the bus because it was very windy and chilly. But I can’t be a “party pooper.”
Sandy Cove is a very small village known formerly for its gentlemen’s bathing place called the Forty Foot ( it used to be a quiet swimming haven for men only). It is located on the east coast of Ireland in South County Dublin, and more specifically, in the area of Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown.
I don’t find these pics screaming with energy and excitement. I bet, you can see it too. I took these photos. All I wanted at this point was to go back to the hotel and vegetate. Did my mood change as the day went on? Stand by for more updates.
