With the almost twelve years of living here in New York, I have never resorted to perusing a heated blanket to keep me toasty and warm during the frigid winter season. Our 750 fill power, baffle Hungarian goose down comforter and my down pillows are enough to keep me warm all through the night while sleeping. That goes to say that we don’t actually have a heated blanket here in the house.
With a husband who loves the colder temps, one window in our bedroom is opened just a crack every night with the heat off in the entire house. I know, this set-up is not favorable in as far as keeping the heat in the house is concerned. It is not heat efficient and it is tantamount to higher heating cost but I have no choice. While I’m all covered up with the sheets and comforter while sleeping, there goes the other side of the bed with a man sleeping with just the flat sheet over his body.
Meeting a happy medium is what makes a marriage works. And that includes the temperature inside the bedroom. Need I say more?
