What are engine driven pumps? I came across this technical sounding word and as usual, for a technologically challenged gal like me, I had to find my answer on the net.
I don’t need to reiterate that the internet is heaven sent. If perused properly, I can’t believe the wealth of information that one gains just by surfing online.
Thus, I learned that engine driven pumps are pumps that are optimally intended for general purpose dewatering, irrigation, spraying, washdown and agricultural applications. It is also ideal for use with non-flammable liquids which are compatible with pump component materials. That said, this type of pump is primarily for agricultural use, although, there’s an engine driven pump such as the trash pump which is used in handling trash used in sewage, canneries, chemical processing, breweries, meatpacking and the like.
Regardless the type of pump that you need, it is always good to ensure that you do your homework prior to making your purchase. Knowledge is power, and this is key to making informed decisions.
