The very rare instances when I had to deal with car repair, I always felt harassed and stressed out. I figure I’d feel even worst if rv repair is in order especially when you’re on the road. Good thing we don’t own one and have no plans of acquiring one.
Having said that, I believe that having an RV suits a specific lifestyle and ours does not meet that lifestyle. Why should I be the one dealing with vehicle repairs, when there’s the man of the house, you may ask. Simple! My husband is a Wall Street professional who leads very toxic work days during the workweek.
I don’t mind doing the job for my husband because it is through these that I get to learn. I must admit though that early on, I felt so awkward talking to mechanics. In spite of the fact that I was driving my own car since I was 18, I never dealt with car repair and or maintenance, because whatever issues I had then for all those years they were easily taken cared of by the the men in our family.
It’s a totally different world for me. And I’m all for the changes.
