One of the fun things that I ensured we had at our wedding was personalized disposable fuji cameras at each and every table. If it was cost effective, I would have wanted real digital cameras of course, but it was not feasible. Our budget was blown out of proportion, that’s why.
While we had the ceremony, cocktails and reception at a five star hotel, through the suggestion of our Event Stylist, we wound up getting sound system and lighting for the garden where the ceremony was held and the ballroom where we had the reception. Who would have thought of that? Knowing that the hotel is well equipped and well lit in its original state already, never in a million years would I have thought we needed to install proper lighting for better effect.
The disposable cameras once developed brought a lot of fun and laughter a few weeks after the wedding. A lot of the action during the affair on each table that were not recorded and caught by the official photographer and videographer was captured by these cameras. They were candid shots.
While the coffee table style wedding album housed the more serious shots, we have our own that I dutifully put together in a scrapbook and I would not have been able to have any materials if not for the cameras. That to me was a real ingenious idea.
