France is one of my favorite travel destinations. I’ve been there several times, and the place never fails to amaze me. My gateway to France just like the many Francophile out there, was Paris in 2003. I count myself as Francophile. If visiting the country several times does not qualify me to be considered as one, I don’t know what will.
Our visit to the French Riviera last year made me love Bordeaux wine all the more even if I’m just an occasional red wine drinker. I know, red wine is great for the heart but I prefer white. I think it’s because white always seem to be lighter. My wine choice is not an issue with my husband because we are on the same page on this. Truth be told, we have more white than red bottles in our chiller.
My wine preference , however, does not change the fact that one of my must-see France destination is the main source of Bordeaux wine. I’m hoping that my husband and I will visit southwest France in the very near future. I’m the certified travel planner in the family and I plot out the next destination each year. Bordeaux is definitely one of the destinations and is one of the top must-see on my list. When that happens, I’m hoping that the US dollar and Euro conversion will be more reasonable. Whenever we visit Europe, this is always a big consideration because our dollar seem to be unable to stand a more solid footing versus the Euro.
Good economy or not however, a seasoned traveler like me will always find the time to satisfy my wanderlust for as long as I’m not a liability to anyone. Agree?
