During these tough economic times, businesses struggle to keep afloat. The past few years, we’ve seen many business enterprises come and go, big and small. No entity is immune to this so called recession.
It is in proper management that businesses thrive. Just like any company, we know too well that sales and marketing are the backbone. Let the two departments slack and not deliver the goals and the result is not favorable to the whole firm. The other departments in a firm play also a crucial role, supporting role at that.
My experience in corporate sales and marketing management all too often put my creativity to the test. Coming up with promotional materials to create awareness to deliver goals was a norm year round. Sure – it helped that there was a group of very talented Creative team and a trusty Advertising Agency on hand. The materials were varied, ranging from banners, tarpaulins, lanyards, custom lapel pins, promotional counters and the like. There was never a dull moment when I was at work with the Creative Team.
The current business climate calls for a more solid marketing backing. At the end of the day, nothing matters if the objectives are not met and the numbers don’t add up. That is the reason why now more than ever, every marketing man needs to create continuous brand awareness and drum up ‘noise’ in the marketplace.
