That is what Tourettes-sur-Loup is known for. Blame it on the small purple flowers that normally abound beneath the olive trees. They are later on sent to the perfume factories in Grasse, or used as ingredients for candies during a festival held every March. Tourettes-sur-Loup sits atop a sheer cliff overlooking the Loup valley. There [...] . . . → Read More: City Of Violets

Here’s a few more shots that I took when we visited Saint-Paul-De-Vence. While waiting for our driver, I looked down and zoomed in on this cemetery. I was shocked to see such a miniscule grave site. I was tempted to pick at least one piece of peach from this peach tree. It’s the first time [...] . . . → Read More: Images Of An Overrun Village

This is Europe’s biggest yacht harbor and home to the Picasso Museum showing off its great collection (which we weren’t able to visit). It was just [...] . . . → Read More: Antibes

One day of touring around Saint-Tropez was not enough. If I will have the chance to visit the French Riviera again, I will ensure that we stay here for at least two days. Coming here for history and quaintness means that you caught the wrong yacht (lol) as St. Tropez is synonymous with Riviera glamour. [...] . . . → Read More: One Last Look
